Terms, privacy and acceptable use

Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and [Operator legal name], [registered address] ("PagesPrinter", "we"). They apply when you create an account, use the dashboard at app.pagesprinter.com, call the API or MCP server at api.pagesprinter.com, or publish a site with us. If you use PagesPrinter for an organisation, you accept these terms on its behalf.

1. The service

PagesPrinter hosts static files. Each site has a preview, served at an address on pagesprinter.page, and production releases, served only on domains you have verified. We don't run your build, execute server-side code or host databases.

2. Accounts and teams

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address. You are responsible for the people you invite to your team and for every API key your team creates, including keys used by AI agents. Actions taken with a key count as actions of the team that owns it.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the files you upload. You give us the permission we need to store, copy and serve them in order to run the service, for example to copy your preview into a release or to serve a page to a visitor. You confirm that you have the rights to publish what you upload and that it follows the acceptable use policy.

4. Plans, billing and limits

Each team subscribes to one plan. Plans and their prices are listed on the pricing page, in euros, and the limits shown there apply. EU VAT is added where it applies.

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. You can change plan at any time; the change and any price difference take effect as described on the pricing page. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have paid for, and we don't refund partial months unless the law requires it.

If a payment fails or a subscription ends, your previews and production sites keep serving for 7 days. After that they stop serving until a plan is active again. Your files and releases are kept while your account exists, unless you delete them.

We may change plans, prices and limits. We will email team owners at least [30] days before a price change affects them.

5. Availability

We work to keep the service running, but we don't promise a specific level of availability. Keep your own copy of your site's files. The API lets you download them at any time.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend a site or an account that breaks these terms or the acceptable use policy, that puts visitors or our infrastructure at risk, or when the law requires it. Suspended sites return status 451. Where we can, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. You can delete your sites or your account whenever you like.

7. Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to [amount to be confirmed]. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes to these terms

We will post changes on this page and email team owners about material ones at least [30] days before they take effect.

Privacy notice

[Operator legal name] is the controller for the personal data described here. For the content of your sites, including any personal data your pages contain, you are the controller and we process it on your behalf.

What we collect

  • Account data: your email address, your name if you give one, your team memberships and roles.
  • Site data: the files you upload, site settings, releases and the domains you add.
  • Activity: who changed what and how (dashboard, API or MCP), including the name of the API key used.
  • Request logs: IP address, user agent, hostname, path and status for requests to our services and to hosted sites, kept for [retention period to be confirmed].

Why we use it

To provide the service you signed up for (performance of a contract), to keep it secure and investigate abuse (legitimate interests), and to meet legal obligations. We don't sell personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

  • Scaleway: hosting, file storage, database and sign-in email delivery, in the EU.
  • Cloudflare: network, TLS certificates and caching for previews and custom domains.
  • Stripe: subscription billing and payments. We don't see or store your full card number.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account exists. When you delete a site, its files, releases and domain bindings are deleted. Older releases beyond the last 10 are pruned automatically.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of, deletion of or a copy of your personal data, and you can object to processing. Write to privacy@pagesprinter.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Acceptable use policy

This policy applies to everything hosted on PagesPrinter, on previews and on production domains alike, and to every person or agent that uses a PagesPrinter account or key.

You may not use PagesPrinter to host or distribute

  • phishing pages, or pages that imitate another organisation's sign-in, payment or support pages;
  • malware, including drive-by downloads, exploit kits and scripts that mine cryptocurrency in visitors' browsers;
  • child sexual abuse material, which we report to the relevant authorities;
  • content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark;
  • pages whose purpose is spam, scams or fraud;
  • content that incites violence or harasses individuals;
  • anything else that is illegal where you or your visitors are.

You also may not

  • try to reach another team's sites, files or keys;
  • probe, overload or attack our infrastructure, or get around rate limits and quotas;
  • use preview addresses to disguise where content is served from;
  • add a domain you don't control.

Reporting abuse

Email abuse@pagesprinter.com with the full URL and what you found. We review every report. For phishing and malware we suspend the site first and then contact its owner.

Cookies

PagesPrinter uses only cookies it needs to work. There are no analytics or advertising cookies, so we don't show a consent banner.

  • pagesprinter.com (this site): no cookies.
  • The dashboard and API (app.pagesprinter.com, api.pagesprinter.com): a session cookie that keeps you signed in.
  • Previews with token access: __pp_preview, set on that one preview address after you open a link with a valid token, so you don't have to enter it again.

Sites you host on PagesPrinter may set their own cookies. Those are the responsibility of the site owner.
